Christopher is an experienced litigator who has handled cases from inception through appeal. His practice focuses primarily on business and commercial litigation—including cases involving breaches of contract, shareholder disputes, shareholder derivative actions, corporate dissolutions, breaches of fiduciary duty, UCC purchase and sale agreements, fraud, and misappropriation of trade secrets. Christopher also has experience in whistleblower cases, employment law, insurance coverage disputes, telecommunications law, and commercial debt collection.

Christopher’s practice has spanned the entire litigation process. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants from the initial pleading stage, tried cases to jury verdicts, and handled appeals in both state and federal courts. He recently helped secure a $2 million jury verdict for his clients in a breach of contract action and helped defeat bet-the-company-style counterclaims against them. Christopher frequently represents small and medium-sized businesses, but he has also represented individuals and large, multinational companies.

Before joining Badham & Buck in 2016, Christopher clerked for the Honorable L. Scott Coogler of the Northern District of Alabama.

Christopher is currently the President of the Alabama State Bar Young Lawyers Section and is on the Birmingham Bar Young Lawyers Section Executive Board. He has been recognized as a Birmingham Business Journal “Rising Star of Law,” a Best Lawyers “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch,” and a Super Lawyers “Rising Star in Business Litigation.” He is also a member of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham.
